Varus Full Crit

The combo of Infinity Edge, Statikk Shiv, Rapid Fir Cannon, and Phantom Dancer will give Varus 100% crit rate.

You can also replace Mortal Reminder with Guardian Angel to increase your surviving chance.

Varus Runes

The best Wild Rift Varus Rues are Conqueror keystone, with Gathering Storm, Spirit Walker, and Sweet tooth.

Conqueror	Gain Stacks of AD or AP when hitting a champion with separate attacks or abilities. Stacks up to 5 times. When fully stacked deal bonus damage to champions. (Adaptive)
Gathering Storm	Every 2 minutes, gain AD or AP. (Adaptive)
Spirit Walker	Gain bonus max health and slow resistance.
Sweet Tooth	Increases Honeyfruit healing effect, each fruit also provides bonus gold.

Summoner Spells

Flash	Teleport a short distance forward or toward the aim direction.
Heal	Restores Health and grants bonus Movement Speed to you an the most wounded nearby ally champions.

Varus Skill Guide

Skill Details

Living Vengeance	Gains 40% Attack Speed for 5 seconds on a champion kill or assist, 20% on non-champion kills.
Piercing Arrow	Hold: Draws the bow, gradually increasing the range and damage for the next shot. Movement Speed is slowed by 20% while preparing to shoot. Release: Fires the arrow, dealing 74 to 111 physical damage, reduced by 15% per enemy hit. Cooldown: 18 / 16 / 14 /12 Mana Cost: 75 / 80 / 85 / 90
Blighted Quiver	Passive: Attacks deal 8 bonus magic damage and apply Blight for 5 seconds. Varus' other abilities detonate Blight, dealing magic damage equal to 3.5% of the target's max Health per stack. Active: Doubles the bonus on hit damage from Blighted Quiver's passive for 6 seconds. The next Piercing Arrow deals bonus magic damage equal to 7% to 10% of the target's missing Health, increased by 0% - 50%. Cooldown: 25
Hail of Arrows	Fires a hail of arrows that deals 70 physical damage and desecrates the ground for 4 seconds. Desecrated ground slows enemies by 25% and applies Grievous Wounds. Cooldown: 16 / 14 / 12 / 10 Mana Cost: 80
Chain of Corruption	Flings out a tendril of corruption that deals 150 magic damage and roots the first enemy champion hit for 2 seconds. The corruption then spreads toward nearby enemy champions, also immobilizing them on contact. Immobilized units gain 3 Blight stacks over the the next 3 seconds. Cooldown: 70 / 60 / 50 Mana Cost: 100

Varus Matchups & Partners

Enemy Matchups

Good Against
Jinx	Varus has better range that Jinx, try to take the advantage to get all the farm in laning phase. Constantly harass Jinx with Piercing arrow, and use Ultimate when you want to eliminate the target.
Jhin	Jhin has slower attack speed and shorter range to fight against Varus. Try to take adavantage and harass Jhin with your Hail of Arrows and Piercing Arrows to deny his farm.
Ashe	Playing against Ashe, you will get harass with her Volley most of the time, try to dodge it. Take advantage of your Piercing arrow range and harass her because she has low mobility to escape it.
Miss Fortune	Your Ultimate Chain of Corruption can cancel Miss Fortune Ultimate which is very useful during team fight. You can also use Piercing Arrow trade each other during farming phase as well.

Hard Counters
Draven	It is very hard to play with Draven, you can harass him in the early lane with your ability but in late game his damage output are way higher with his Spinning Axe and he has better mobility as well.
Vayne	Vayne damage output in early game is very high she also has great attack range against you. Her Tumble can dodge your Piercing Arrow and Hail of Arrow as well.
Kai'Sa	Kai'Sa has has better damage output against Varus, her Icathain Rain can clear wave faster and is very powerful when fighting 1vs1, her Supercharge also boost her attack speed make her even more lethal.
Tristana	Tristana is a good pick to play against Varus, she has good chance to getting more farm, faster attack speed, winning team fight, and her Rocket Jump can also counter Varus Ultimate.
Ezreal	Ezreal is a great counter to play against Varus, his Mystic Shot is a good poking ability and even better with Essence Flux combo. His Arcane Shift can easily dodge your Ultimate.

Support Partners

Blitzcrank	Blitzcrank can play very well with Varus, his Rocket Grab can hook the enemy into your Ultimate and eliminate that enemy without the target escaping.
Braum	Braum is a great defensive / aggressive support, his Winter's Bite is a good harass ability while as his Unbreakable can defend you from taking damage, and Ultimate can disengage the enemy from targeting you.
Alistar	Alistar is a good defensive and aggressive support, his Pulverize can knock up the enemy and you can hit with the enemy with your Piercing arrow a very deadly combo, Alistar can also Headbutt the enemy out from targeting you as well.
Sona	Sona is a healer and aggressive support that can heal and output damage to the enemy as well as stun the enemy team with her Ultimate.
Seraphine	Seraphine is another healer / aggressive support that can lane very well with Varus, her Beat Drop and High Note is a great zoning abilities, her Ultimate work nice as a combo with your Ultimate as well.
LuLu	LuLu is a good defensive support that can make Varus become stronger during team fight with her Ultimate, providing shield and can hex the enemy as well.
Nami	Soraka is an aggressive and healer support, with her Aqua Prison is such a good zoning ability but it need to be dead on.
Soraka	Soraka is a healer support that can heal you a lot with her Astral Infusion, and Wish. Her Starcall and Equinox is also a great zoning ability that can harass the lane effectively.
Janna	Janna is a good healer support to play with Varus, she can shield and heal you with her Ultimate, and her Howling Gale is also a good zoning ability.
