If you have Tae you can go to Shop -> Item you can buy it from the store it cost 120 per hero coin and you need 100 hero coins to unlock one character in Naraka Bladepoint and you need to have 12000 Tae to buy 100 hero coins.
You can earn Tae by playing and the best way to get Tae is in Weapon reward & Event, if you want to earn Tae faster you need to level up melee weapon and ranged weapon.

In the new era event Flight of Glory you need to play mini online game to get star score if you have 1500 stars score you will get 20 hero coins for 15000 stars score you will get 40 hero coins free 60 hero coins in this event.
