Reverse: 1999 is the new turn-based fantasy RPG that just released today and there are many characters available for players to play. Similar to other RPG games, You can unlock some of the characters for free in the quest, or Players have to spend in-game currency to unlock random items because this is a Gacha game. After the Global release of the game, we also received 4 banners to start with and each character has a different featured character that has a significant pull rate increase and some are guaranteed.

The First Drop of Rain
This is a permanent character banner for rookies which includes certain characters such as Lilya, Eternity, and Regulus. You only need 30 summons in this banner in order to get a 6-star character and Once you have obtained the character this banner will be closed. Also in those 30 summons, you are guaranteed at least 1 4 stars or better character in every 10 summons.

- Eternity
- She is a DPS/Nasty Wound character with a Mineral Afflatus and Reality DMG type.
- Based on her skill, she is a great DMG dealer for early and late games. Her skills deal with massive reality DMG as well as reducing some of her HP%. However, thanks to her Insight, provides self-healing and additional DMG which makes her the best character that you can get on this banner.
- Lilya
- She is a DPS/Burst DMG character with a Star Afflatus and Reality DMG type.
- Most of her skills rely on CRIT Hit to output massive Reality DMG and choosing the correct Psychubes will greatly increase CRIT Hit and make her deals significant DMG in the late game when you reach Insight 3.
- Regulus
- She is a DPS/Support character with a Star Afflatus and Mental DMG type.
- Besides dealing with Mental DMG, she also has a support utility that makes allies dodge non-ultimate for 1 round. She also has a unique passive that can convert CRIT Rate to CRIT DMG when she doesn't act for 1 round. Regulus is a great balance DPS that can support allies as well as deal with a lot of DMG.
One Gram of Curiosity
This a limited pick-up banner with rate-up characters that change periodically, and share the guarantee count with similar banners. This banner will feature 6-star character Sotheby, and 5-star characters, Charlie and X with a 50% chance increase.

- Sotheby
- She is a DPS/Poison/Heal character with a Plant Afflatus and Reality DMG type.
- She is a unique healer who can apply Debuff to enemies and inflict Poison that deals Genesis DMG based on her ATK. Also, she can heal allies by using her first skill and Ultimate.
- Charlie
- She is a DPS/Dispeller character with a Star Afflatus and Mental DMG type.
- Most of her skills rely on her HP% change and Dispell Status. Based on her Insight, whenever, her HP is higher than 50%, she deals additional DMG, and if her HP% is below 50% her DMG taken will be reduced and CRIT DEF will go up.
- X
- He is a DPS/Dispeller/Control character with a Intellect Afflatus and Reality DMG type.
- He is really good at using Dispeller utility on enemies which makes them can't use Buff, Debuff, Heal, or Counter Incantation and lower enemies Moxie.
Clang of Sword & Armor
This a limited pick-up banner with rate-up characters that change periodically, and share the guarantee count with similar banners. This banner will feature a 6-star character A Knight, and 5-star characters, Bkornblume and Tennant with a 50% chance increase.

- A Knight
- He is a DPS character with a Spirit Afflatus and Reality DMG type.
- A decent Pure DPS character who gains a lot of AP which makes him get Ultimate faster and can apply +30% DMG to all allies.
- Bkronblume
- She is a Debuff/Burst DMG/Control character with Plant Afflatus and Reality DMG type.
- She can decrease enemies' Reality DEF and increase their DMG receive and she can debuff enemies' to deal additional DMG.
- Tennant
- She is a Debuff/Shield/DPS character with Beast Afflatus and Reality DMG type.
- She can provide allies with a shield, reduce DMG taken, and reduce enemies' Reality DMG.
In Conclusion
There are some characters who are really good to invest in and some are not. It goes without saying that, The First Drop of Rain is the best banner that you should pull since you only need 30 summons to get a 6-star character. However, if you want to pull characters from pick-up characters we recommend Clang of Sword & Armor because there are a lot of better characters compared to One Gram of Curiosity.
