Seem the AR97 is a burst assault rifle and has really high recoil control it really hard to aim while shooting. Using a Compensator with AR97 will decrease a huge recoil control and make it easy to aim.

Extended Vertical Grip is also a big part of reducing the recoil control of AR97 and increasing Hip Fire Accuracy. So shooting in mid-range will be more easy to control and accurate.
