AFK Journey Marilee Guide

Marilee is a ranger focused on dealing high single-target damage and providing some disruption through stuns. She excels in situations where she can be isolated from the enemy frontline and capitalize on her conditional damage buffs.

Marilee has 6 skills that require you to unlock by leveling up your character.

Ultimate - Mid Air Shot

This skill unlocks at level1, has a 0s cooldown, 3 tiles range, and requires 0 Initial energy.

Skill Detail: Marilee moves up to 2 tiles in any direction, dealing 125% damage to 2 enemies closet to her initial location.

Upgrade Skill as the following level down below:

Unlocks at level 51: Increases moving distance to 3 tiles in any direction.

Unlocks at level 111: Increases damage to 135%.

Unlocks at level 171: Increases damage to 145%.

Unlocks at level 231: Increases damage to 155%.

1st Skill - Mighty Arrow 

This skill unlocks at level 11, with a 0s cooldown, and has a 5-tiles range.

Skill Detail: After every 2 normal attacks, Marilee briefly charges up before her next normal attack, dealing 160% damage and inflicting stun for 0.5s.

Unlocks at level 71: Increases damage to 170%.

Unlocks at level 131: Increases damage to 180%.

Unlocks at level 191: Increases damage to 190%.

2nd Skill - Hyperfocus

his skill unlocks at level 31, with a TBD cooldown, and 1-tile range.

Skill Detail: Marilee increases ATK by 4% and ATK SPD by 25 when there's no enemy within 2 tiles.

Unlocks at level 91: Increase ATK by 11%.

Unlocks at level 151: Increases ATK by 14%.

Unlocks at level 211: Increase ATK by 17%.

Hero Focus

You can unlock Hero Focus after reaching Legendary, with a TBD cooldown, and 1 tile range.

Skill Detail: Increases Crit DMG Boost by 30 during battle.

Level 2: Increases Crit DMG Boost by 40 during battle.

Level 3: Increases Crit DMG Boost by 50 during battle.

Ex. Skill - Battlefield Learning

You can unlock Exclusive skill after reaching Mythic, with a TBD cooldown, and Global range.

Skill Detail: Marilee's ATK is increases by 5% when other allies cast an Ultimate, up to 6 stacks. Her normal attacks deal true damage after reaching max stacks.

Upgrade Skill as the following level down below:

Unlocks at Ex. Weapon +5: Gains an extra stack of Battlefield Learning when the Hyperfocus takes effect for every 10s.

Unlocks at Ex.Weapon +10: Increases each stack of ATK bonus to 7.5%.

Unlocks at Ex.Weapon +15: Increases each stack of ATK bonus to 8.5%.

Enhance Force

You can unlock Enhance Force after reaching Supreme.

Affect of Skill 2: The required no-enemy range for triggering Hyperfocus is shortened by 1-tile.

Pros

• True Damage Potential: Her Exclusive Skill allows her to deal true damage, which helps bypass high defense targets.

Cons

• Fragile: Marilee lacks innate defensive abilities and can be vulnerable if caught out of position or focused by the enemy team.
• Conditional Buffs: Her best damage and attack speed buffs from "Hyperfocus" require her to be isolated, which can be difficult to maintain depending on the battle.
• Cooldown Reliance: Her stuns and repositioning are tied to skill cooldowns, leaving her less disruptive in between those uses.
• Single Target Focus: While her stuns are regular, they target only a single enemy at a time.
