Superimposition Level 5: The Maiden in the Painting Increases DMG dealt by the wearer's follow-up attacks by 48%. If the current HP of the target enemy is below or equal to 50%, increases DMG dealt by follow-up attacks by an extra 48%.

Note: You need to Warp the Same Light Cone To Upgrade Superimposition Level.

The Birth of the Self is a S tier light cone for the Erudition path characters in Honkai: Star Rail.

It's a great light cone that make your follow up attack stronger especially when you enemy is below half-hp.

Best on Characters

This Light cone is best for Himeko and Herta both of these characters have a follow up attack talent that can deal damage even higher.

Qingque is another character that is great with this light cone, but in order to proc his follow-up attack you need to get him up to Eidolon 4 first.

Serval on the other hand is not really good with the light cone, she doesn't have any talent or eidolon in order to generate a follow-up attack at all.
