There are many characters in Honkai Star Rail who can obtain by pulling from Banner and free characters that can be obtained by doing quests. In fact, there are eight of the Characters are free in-game currently. So, here we are using them to build 5 teams that can maximize their potential without cost money to spend on banners and just using 4 Stars characters.
Best F2P Arlan Team Build

- Arlan is the Main DPS who deals more DMG when his HP is lower and to maintain his HP he needs help from March 7th to protect him from taking too much DMG
- Dan Heng can be a great Sub DPS since his skill reduce the enemy's SPD
- Asta is a really great support in this team because of her ability to increase the SPD of all allies.
Best F2P Serval Team Build
- Team Breakdown
- Serval shock her enemies with her skill and takes Lightning DoT DMG
- Hook apply burn on enemies and enemies will take Fire DoT DMG.
- Sampo will get additional DMG when casting a skill which can increase DMG from DoT effected enemies.
- Natasha can heal allies and remove 1 debuff from enemies.
Best Trailblazer F2P Team Build
- Team Breakdown
- Tingyun can boost Trailblazer DMG with her Ultimate
- March 7th can apply Shield on Trailblazer to take less DMG
- Natasha will help generate team health to survive in battle and remove 1 Debuff
Best Dan Heng F2P Team Build
- Team Breakdown
- Dan Heng is DPS because his skill lower the enemy SPD and his ultimate deal better DMG when the enemy SPD lower
- Asta is a really great support in this team because of her ability to increase the SPD of all allies.
- Pela will lower enemies DEF with her passive and ultimate making it easier for Dan Heng to deal with more DMG.
Best Qingque F2P Team Build
- Team Breakdown
- Qingque maximum DMG comes from her Talent 4 identical jade tiles so getting the same jade tiles will give a huge DMG on her skill.
- Herta deals AoE DMG after enemies HP drops below 50%.
- Pela will lower enemies DEF with her passive and ultimate making it easier for Qingque to deal with more DMG.
