04’ Subaru Impreza Tune List
Tire Pressure
- Front: 28.5 PSI
- Rear: 28.5 PSI
Alignment
- Camber: Front: -1.5° | Rear: -1.0°
- Toe: Front: 0.1° Out | Rear: 0.0°
- Front Caster Angle: 6.0°
Angling the tires slightly inward at the top (camber) keeps them flat on the ground during turns. A tiny bit of front toe-out helps the car start turning faster.
Antiroll Bars
- Front: 15.00
- Rear: 18.00
We make these relatively soft. This allows the left and right sides of the car to move independently, keeping the tires on the ground when driving over uneven dirt.
Springs & Ride Height
- Springs: Front: 280.0 LB/IN | Rear: 251.6 LB/IN
- Ride Height: Front: 8.3 IN | Rear: 8.3 IN
We raise the car as high as possible so it doesn't smash its underside on the ground. Soft springs help absorb the shock from big jumps.
Damping
- Rebound Stiffness: Front: 6.0 | Rear: 5.0
- Bump Stiffness: Front: 2.0 | Rear: 1.5
Damping stops the car from bouncing. These settings help the suspension stretch out quickly after a bump but compress smoothly when landing.
Brake
- Braking Force Balance: 48%
- Braking Force Pressure: 100%
Sending slightly more braking power to the back wheels helps the car swing its rear end around tight corners when you step on the brakes.
Differential
- Front: Acceleration: 30% | Deceleration: 0%
- Rear: Acceleration: 70% | Deceleration: 10%
- Center Balance: 65%
This sends 65% of the engine's power to the back wheels. It gives you the slidey feel of a rear-wheel-drive car while the front wheels still pull you out of corners.
