Weapons Skills Upgrade Materials in Where Winds Meet

Martial Arts are your weapons skills in Where Winds Meet, the more you upgrade them, the stronger your weapons become.

To upgrade your weapon skill you need the six materials, so here is the list of weapons and their required materials:

• Sword, Fan, & Rope Dart required: Pine Resin Ointment & Scarlet Flame Ointment.
• Spear, & Dual Blade required: Bluestone Lock & Wolframite Weight.
• Mo Blade, & Umbrella required: Tiger Bone Liquor & Bone Renewal Tonic.

So know which weapon you want to use, learn their martial arts, then farm the materials accordingly, and here are the quickest ways to farm these materials:

Fastest way to farm Ointment

To get Ointment you need to clear all Aureate Pavilion mobs from the map, they all carried Ointment inside their body, so when you kill them, go near them and collect everything.

The first location that I farm is Abandoned Mercy Hall area, as I can collect at least 10 ointments from here.

Then I go here to Bodhi Sea, by using the Bloomveil Monastery teleport stone, and get another 5 ointments from there.

Then I teleport to Front Mountain teleport stone, and start clearing all their camps down toward the Encircling lake area.

There are more locations that consist of these mobs, but having a proper route like mine allows you to clear them quicker so you can move to another task.

You can get both Pine Resin Ointment and Scarlet Flame Ointment.

Fastest way to farm Lock & Weight

Similar to Ointment, to get more Lock, you need to clear all the Greenwood Mobs, as they carried Lock inside their body.

My first location is always Northern Vow ruins teleport stone as you can find a bunch of them roaming around this area.

After I clear my first location, I teleport toward Moonveil Mountain using Moonveil Peak boundary stone, and start clearing around this area all the way to Witherwilds area.

And If I still need more locks, I will teleport to Withershade Mound teleport stone in Kaifeng and farm there as well.

You can get  both Bluestone Lock and Wolframite Weight from these mobs.

Fastest way to farm Liquor & Tonic

Liquor is by far the easiest route to farm, you can get all the Liquor materials from Buddha Fort mobs, and you can find all of them in Sundara Land area.

My route start by teleporting to Buddha Fort, clear all of the mobs camp there:

The I teleport to Halo Peak and clear more of the mobs there:

Lastly, I teleport to Mercyheart Monastery and clear of them there:

You can get both Tigor Bone Liquor and Bone Renewal Tonic from these mobs.

Alternate way to get Materials

You can also find the Upgrade chest and Breakthrough chest inside the Battle Pass shop. 

You purchase 2 of these chests per week, they are quite cheap, and you can get 20 of your preferred upgrade material and 5 breakthrough materials of your choice.
