In Where Winds Meet, Oddities are materials that improve your character base stats, unlock new inner ways, and weaken world bosses.
It functions as an extra boost to your character stats, once you get the best weapon, the best set, and the best inner way, and you’re still not satisfied with your character, that is when Oddities come in.
There are 10 types of Oddities in Where Winds Meet, you can find 5 of them in Qinghe, and other 5 in Kaifeng.
All Oddities located are scattered around Where Winds Meet map, you can find them in the mini map of every town with the logo of bird lady like.

How to get Enchanting Lotus
To collect Enchanting Lotus, you need to use Bow to shoot at any flying purple butterfly around the oddity.
To make sure you shoot down all of them press v, and if the oddity still shows any connection to the butterfly, you should shoot them down too.
After shooting them down, you’ll be able to collect 1 enchanting lotus.
How to get Iron Wing Mantis
To collect Iron Wing Mantis you need to go near the mantis and press observe and follow it from one place until it reaches its last place.
After that, you can go near it and collect it to get 1 Iron Wing Mantis.
How to get Redmist Beetle
There are multiple ways to collect Redmist Beetles, you can use any high ground and jump onto the top beetle, use build mode and build stairs, or use fly mode and try to land on the top beetle.
After you land on the top beetles, you will get 1 Redmist Beetle.
How to get Dagger General
To collect Dagger General, you need to perform a double jump and landing attack to break whatever object that is stuck above.
After you break the object, try to press collect as quickly as possible before it moves away then you will get 1 Dagger general.
How to get Whisper Hive
To collect Whisper Hive, you need to use your fire arrow and bow to shoot the beehives, then you need to climb up the mountain side or tree to collect the Whisper Hive.
They usually spawn near a waterfall, mountain side, or random tree. After you collect them you’ll get 1 Whisper Hive.
Note: You can only find these 5 oddities in Kaifeng area:
How to get Swallow’s Rest
Swallow’s Rest mostly spawn on the rooftop of the Kaifeng area, so the more you explore the area using the rooftop, the easier you can get them.
Once you go near them, you can collect 1 Swallow’s Rest without doing anything.
How to get Moonbeam Toad
To collect Moonbeam Toads, you need to go near them and follow its jumping pattern closely until it reaches its last place.
After you collect them you can get 1 Moonbeam Toad.
How to get Heartsoothe Twig
To collect Heartsoothe Twig you need to look at the sky and spot the birds that fly around the oddity area.
Use your bow with either fire or normal arrow and try to hit the bird, then it will drop the oddity to the ground, go and collect it then you will get 1 Heartsoothe Twig.
How to get Midnight Nibbler
To collect Midnight Nibbler you need to perform the same action as you perform in Dagger General, you do double jump and landing attack to break the object.
Then collect them as quickly as possible as you have a chance to get multiple Midnight Nibbler.
How to get Thunder Fluff
To get Thunder Fluff, you need to go near the oddity, then interact with it and observe where it flying to, until it reach the last location
Then you go near them and you’ll be able to claim 1 Thunder Fluff.
How to Exchange Oddities for Character Stats
After you collected a bunch of Oddities, you need to take them to an exchange NPC:
If you’re in the Qinghe area you need to find Qi Sheng, and if you’re in the Kaifeng area, you need to find Bai Ji.

You can get there by teleporting to General’s Shrine boundary stone.
Here is Bai Ji location on the map:
Bai Ji is located quite far from the central area of Kai Feng, so you need to unlock the Palace of Supreme Oneness boundary stone to get there easier.
