In Where Winds Meet, Pitch Pot Challenge is an activity or a mini game where you need to control your movement (mouse, keyboard, or controller thumb stick) to keep that inside a circle that moves around your screen.
If you successfully lead the opponent to a certain point, you will win the game and get rewards.
These Pitch Pot challenge npc are everywhere around the map, you can find them in both Qinghe and Kaifeng.

When you first start, your game will have pretty small circle that is hard for you to follow, so in order to increase the circle size, you need to:
1. Only choose any of the NPC that have a lower resolve point than you.

Always look at their resolve level, if they’re higher than you or close to you, it’s likely that you won’t be able to keep up with them.
When you first start, look for NPC that have around 10 resolve to begin with, and move up from there.
2. If you’re a card guy, you go and play Madiao Card first, it’s a mini game that you can increase your resolve extremely quickly.

If you win a pitch pot challenge, you will get +2 resolve, but if you win a Madiao card, you will get +7 resolve.
Once you reach around 70 Resolve, any circle of the pitch pot challenge will be bigger by default, you don’t have to struggle trying to catch up to the circle anymore.

To check your resolve point, go to Development page, click on details, and click on exploration attributes:

You will see your total resolve point here.

In conclusion, To increase the circle size of Pitch Pot Challenge, you need to increase your resolve points, and to do that you need to 1, play with lower resolve NPC, or win a lot of Madiao cards.
