WARDOGS Season 2 will release on October 15ᵗʰ 2026. Here are everything that we can confirm so far based on the dev teaser video.
New Contents in Season 2
Some of what I found are 100% confirmed and some are just expectation so not everything is concrete.
Rain Mode: Dynamic or Static?
This is the first thing that shown in the teaser, the map OZETI become gray, foggy, and rain drop.
So we will get rain in Season 2, what we don’t know is that will it be a full rain match? or a dynamic weather system that turn from foggy to rain to clear sky.
Update from Devs: For clarity - rain is an additional weather state per map and not a dynamic event mid match.
We will let you know more when we have new information regarding this system.
Since WARDOGS is known for optimizing their game, we hope this new rain weather won’t affect low specs players too much.
New Tactical Throwable: Molotov
What come after the rain, we saw that the ground in the house is burning.
This is likely a tease of introducing new tactical item Molotov that you can throw and force enemies to get out of their covers.
If this is true, having molotov in your loadout will make clearing a FOB easier, multi story houses, tower rooftop, and every places that you suspect enemies to be.
Just throw it properly and wait for the rat to come out.
New Ground Vehicle: Mobile Anti-Air
This is a 50/50 chance of it becoming true but if you look at the teaser video at 0:17 timestamp, you will see a Black hawk fly by and what look multiple tracer round aiming at it.
Now this could simply be multiple enemies firing at it, but judging by the way it aim it is more likely to be the Flak Panzer Gepard which is already found in the game files.
If the Mobile Anti-Air turn out to be true, we will have more ways to combat these machine gun and rocket little birds without relying on CRAM or SAM site.
So far, that’s all we know from the 36 seconds of teaser by developers, I’m pretty sure they will release more teaser down the line and I will update more confirm stuffs that I can find.
