Warcraft Rumble Best Leaders Tier List

Down below you can find the details on why we rank these leaders in their respective tier, please also note that we do not rank them from best to worst inside their tier.

S Tier Leaders

S tier leadersare leading the meta in Warcraft Rumble, they are very strong and compatible with most minis, the possibilities of builds are endless with these leaders.

Baron Rivendare

In the early game, Baron Rivendare is the best at taking down towers, he has high health, fast, and deals quite high damage.

Baron Rivendare gets stronger the more towers he destroys thanks to his leader ability called "Army of the Dead" which regularly spawn skeletons from the tower it took down which ultimately helps him in the later phase of the match.

The reason we place Baron Rivendare in S tier is because he's a great frontline tank, you can easily snowball with him with the more areas you control and his skeletons armies are very useful.

Tirion Fordring

Tirion Fordring is the best healing leader in the game. If your deck is built to rely on your tank / damage dealer minis, having Tirion Fordring as a leader is the key to winning the game.

Tirion Fordring's leader ability can heal all nearby friendly units allowing you to push into further zones or sometime directly to winning the game. This doesn't count his best ability which also gains a magical shield making him even tankier.

This make Tirion Fordring a well deserved S tier leader because of how well he can play or build around and he's very hard to counter.

Rend Blackhand

When it come to dealing raw damage nothing beat Rend Blackhand, this hybrid of Flying and walking leader is a nightmare to face against, he's a threat to both squad mins and single minis.

When he's flying on his dragon, he deal massive AoE damage and when you kills his dragon, he become an overpowered damage dealer that shred through enemies minis with ease.

We place Rend Blackhand in S tier is not because he's insanely powerful, but he's a very easy leader to build in your deck, plus when you think his dragon is not tanky enough, you can also upgrade to his best ability "Scale and Steel".

A Tier Leaders

A tier leaders are the runner up in the game, they are very useful in term of tanking damage and providing utility for your team. They are also pretty hard to counter.

Maiev Shadowsong

Maiev Shadowsong is a great unbound leader to use for utilizing map pressure, unbound allows you to place her anywhere on the map and she pair well with other unbound minis which helps execute a high burst damage if you do it right.

This unbound leader and minis combos are countless, you can use it to counter enemies from the back or to control your tower, or to finish off enemies.

We decided to put Maiev Shadowsong in A tier because she is an easy leader to play but hard to master and she's only good when you build with a certain type of minis (unbound) to see her true potential.

Grommash Hellscream

Grommash Hellscream is a great leader used to buff his units' extra movement speed and attack speed allows you to execute aggressive playstyle.

He's also a good tank / high damage dealer that can perform very well against enemy tanks or DPS. If you upgrade his best ability "Savage strikes" he will deal even higher damage against enemies below 50% health.

Overall, we decided that Grommash Hellscream deserved an A tier because he's a strong and useful leader that fits greatly for aggressive build.

Cairne Bloodhoof

Cairne Bloodhoof is a powerful tank leader that buffs his unit's extra health. He's also great to use for dealing AoE damage which is strong against squad spawn units.

Although Cairne Bloodhoof did not belong to your fast or aggressive build, he fit more of a defense and counter build because even if he deals high damage, he is pretty slow to move around the map.

Cairne Bloodhoof stand strong in the A tier thanks to his useful utility that make his team stronger when deploying a lot of minis around him,

B Tier Leaders

B tier leaders are niche and situational, they only serves a single purpose during your match, they can also be counter easily.

Sylvanas Windrunner

Sylvanas Windrunner is a good all rounder leader, she can deal damage, provide boost to her horde, left Banshee after death, she's like a swiss knife, a jack of all trades but master of none.

We put her in B tier because she's costly, easy to counter, and hardly good with any build.

Hogger

Hogger is a leader that becomes stronger the later the game goes. But he's very easy to counter and is also pretty squishy which means that he's very easy to be taken down.

Hogger stands in B tier because he's an average damage dealer, he's not fast and he's quite squishy. There's nothing really special about him besides that.

Emperor Thaurissan

Emperor Thaurissan is another average damage dealer that heavily relied on his troops to keep him alive, he's squishy and he is very easy to counter. Hence B tier.

Sneed

Do you want your Leader to only focus tower? Granted Sneed is also tanky but his one dimensional strength won't get you further into the match, a whelp eggs or harpies will easily counter this leader which is why he belongs in B tier.

C Tier Leaders

How do we put it, C tier leaders are costly. They are pretty good and powerful but they cost a little bit more than some of the upper tiers leaders.

General Drakkisath

General Drakkisath is a leader that deals very high damage, but he's pretty slow and he can get counter easily, with several flying minis. He's also quite costly and because of low mobility he's hardly a threat to the enemies which is why he's in C tier.

Jaina Proudmoore

Jaina Proudmoore is a leader that provide general utilize to your team and she's deal minimal AOE damage, she's pretty weak her self so she rely on her team to back her up and let her deal damage. She's in C tier.

Old Murk-Eye

Old Murk-Eye is a leader mini that deal good single damage but very easy to counter, it's squishy and only viable behind tank. Which is not best against most build. So C tier is where they stand.

D Tier Leaders

D tier leaders are underpower, they are very niche and not preferred by most of the players. They are also squishy and easy to counter as well.

Charlga Razorflank

Charlga Razorflank is a leader that can root multiple minis, that's pretty much his whole strength, beside that, he's very squishy, slow and easy to counter.

We place Charlga Razorflank in D tier because he's pretty useless and he can't turn the fight around or provide some sort of useful plays to the team.

Bloodmage Thalnos

Bloodmage Thalnos is a leader that deals massive AOE damage but is squishy than your average mini, it's just not worth it to have him as a leader because there are minis that can also deal massive AOE damage and are more tanky than the man himself.

Conclusion

In short, if you want to follows the meta you can stick with S tier leaders and build your deck around it. But if you want to have some fun and messing around, you can choose all tier leaders below the S tier.
