Calcharo is a 5-star Character in Wuthering Waves. He's known as the Thunder God who deals a great electro output damage inside the game. 

Whether Calcharo is a great electro-DPS character but with a wrong build can drop down his potential in the game. Let's go through our guide and know how to maximize Calcharo's potential down below:

Calcharo Best Echo Build

Every Echo has its own Sonata Effect so choosing the right echo is the most important part of Calcharo. Here we recommend the best echo for Calcharo is 4 3 3 1 1 pattern to gain 5 pieces of Void Thunder Sonata Effect. This Echo build will boost a great Crit DMG, Crit Rate, and Energy Regen Main Stats to Calcharo.  

4-Cost Echo

There are only two 4-Cost Echoes that has Void Thunder Sonata Effect and deal electro DMG Thundering Mephis & Tempest Mephis.

We recommend you use the Thundering Mephis as your Main Echo when activated it will deal a great Electro DMG to an enemy and boost more Electro DMG & Resonance Liberation DMG for Calcharo. But make sure that your Echo Main Stats is Crit Rate & ATK or Crit DMG & ATK these 2 Echo Main Stats fit really well with Calcharo to output tons of Electro DMG to the target. 

Note: Tune Echo Sub Stats is also important if you get Crit Rate, Crit DMG & Resonance Liberation DMG bonus for every echo from 4 to 1 Cost it would be a big part of making Calcharo DMG even more stronger. 

3-Cost Echo

For the 3-Cost Echo Main Stats, most players will go for Electro DMG Bonus & ATK. But we recommend using 3-Cost Echo that has Energy Regen & ATK as their main stats because Calcharo ATK DMG & ATK Speed will increase and deal a lot of damage when you use Resonance Liberation Skill. So having a high Energy Regen % will recharge Calcharo Resonance Liberation Skill faster.    

1-Cost Echo

For 1 Cost Echo don't go for the Echo that has DEF & HP as their main stats cause it doesn't go well with DPS Characters like Calcharo. We recommend going for ATK% & HP as the main stats and try to tune and get Crit Rate & Crit DMG as the Echo sub stats. 

Best Weapons For Calcharo

Lustrous Razor (Gold)	Discord (Purple)	Broadblade of Night (Blue)

Lustrous Razor (Gold)is the Best 5-Star weapon for Calcharo using this weapon will increase Energy Regen by 12.8% >16%. Also when Resonance Skill is cast, Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus is increased by 7% > 8.75%, stacking up to 3 times. This effect lasts for 12s.  Investing this weapon in to Rank 5 will make this weapon even stronger.

Discord (Purple) is the Best 4-Star weapon for Calcharo. This weapon's Main Stats fit really with Calcharo it boosts more ATK and a lot of Energy Regen stat for Calcharo when attacking the target. Even more When the Resonance skill is cast, restores 8 Concerto Energy. This effect can be triggered 1 time(s) every 20. 

Broadblade of Night (Blue) is the Best 3-Star weapon for F2P players this weapon has a good main stat with ATK & Energy Regen. Also when Resonance Skill is cast, it restores 8 Resonance Energy. This effect can be triggered 1 time(s) every 20s. Moreover, this 3-star weapon is easy to upgrade to Rank 5 for F2P.

Level Up & Ascend Character

Level Up & Character Ascend is also a part of making Calcharo Main Stats Stronger. But Level Up & Ascend Character will require some time to collect all the materials as we mention down below:

Note: You cannot Ascend Character from Rank 1 - Rank 6 if your Union Level & SOL3 Phase doesn't meet the requirement. So try to farm for the materials and upgrade your Union Level as high as you can to Ascend Character to a higher level.

Forte Tree Priority

Priority Calcharo Forte (Skill) Tree is also important in the game. While upgrading the skill requires a lot of high-material rarities. Following our Forte Tree Priority will maximize Calcharo's output damage.

1. Resonance Liberation: As you know Calcharo becomes a beast and deals a ton of output when he casts Resonance Liberation skill. So this skill is the main skill that should be the first priority to upgrade.
2. Normal Attack: This is the second priority skill that you should upgrade to the max level cause it will increase by 5.6% Crit DMG stat to Calcharo. You will output a ton of damage If you have a high Crit Rate & Crit DMG, cast the Resonance Liberation skill, and continuously hit the target.
3. Forte Circuit (Passive): This is the third priority skill that you should upgrade to the max level cause when the passive is max with 3 stacks it will increase more Electro DMG to Calcharo. 
4. Resonance Skill: This is the fourth priority skill that you should upgrade to the max level it also deals good damage to the enemies and you will need to use this skill 3 times in order to get Passive Skill.
5. Intro Skill: This is the last priority skill that you should upgrade to the max level. Cause when Calcharo gains full Intro Skill after attacking the enemy. You can switch to other characters in your team to use their outro skill.

Calcharo Best Teamcomp & Rotation

Start the Fight with Jianxin Echo & Resonance Skill then use her normal attack to gain full Forte Circuit Passive then Hold Attack to gain a big amount of Shield and also regen back HP for the team.

Follow up with Calcharo Intro Skill and his combo attack (AA + Resonance Skill + AA Resonance Skill + AA (x2) Resonance Skill) to gain full Passive & Resonance Liberation. When Resonace Liberation is full go close to the target and cast Resonance Liberation to deal more damage, Use Heavy Attack and follow up with x5 Normal Attack then active Echo to deal more damage and gain back energy regen.

Use Rover (Spectro) as your SUB DPS in the team. Start with his Intro Skill then you can use Rover to deal big damage with his Resonance Liberation skill (If Up), his echo can also deal damage to the target as well.

These 2 team comps are also the best team comps for Calcharo you need to invest in order to get Yinlin and Jiyan which are the great AoE SUB DPS in the game. And also have great back support from Verina the best healer in the game plus the buff damage from her.

This is for F2P team comp for Calcharo that comes with Rover as the Sub DPS that can deal pretty good damage with his Resonance Liberation skill also Baizhi is a good 4-Stars healer who provides good healing in team fights as well. 

Calcharo's Potential Strength in Teamfight

Calcharo can knock back small enemies with his Double Jump & Hold Attack. But with the big target & boss the knockback won't work.

Calcharo can also deal great Electro DMG with his Dodge Attack. When he press a perfect dodge then press normal attack. Moreover, his Dodge Attack will increase when he using the Resonator Liberation.

Attack the Enemy by using 3 Resonance Skill will grant a good Energy Regen for Calcharo and also gain a full Forte Circuit (Passive) skill that will deal more Electro DMG when using Heavy Attack. But When using Heavy Attack the Forte Circuit (Passsive) will reset.

Note: Calcharo Passive Skill increases the damage of his Resonance Liberation and reduces damage taken, enhancing his survivability.

Calcharo will turn into a beast mode when using Resonator Liberation Skill Calcharo deals great bonus electro damage, attack speed, and the echo damage also increases when you activate it. That's why Energy Regen stats is important to Calcharo which will help him to gain Resonator Liberation skill faster and dominate the fight. Moreover, using heavy attack when Calcharo is in his Resonantor Liberation skill form won't reset your Forte Circuit (Passive) skill. 

Tip: Don't activate Echo when your Resonance Liberation Skill is not ready you should activate Echo after Calcharo use his Resonator Liberation skill it deals more damage to the target and also it gains a lot of Energy Regen.

Calcharo Resonance Chain

In order to upgrade the Calcharo Resonance Chain you will need to spend and pull the Gacha to get other Calcharo's Waveband. Down below is our suggestion for the Resonance Chain upgrade. 

For F2P players We recommend you to upgrade your Resonance Chain to Sequence Node 1 & 2 it really good for boosting more Resonance Energy to have Resonance Liberation fast and also bonus Resonance Skill damage for 30%.  

For Investment Players we recommend the best Sequence Node 3 & 4 it boosts more Electro damage bonus by 25% when you activate Resonance Liberation, and also when using Outro skill it will boost Electro DMG for your entire team as well. 

We do not recommend the players to go for Sequence Node 5 & 6 it costs a lot of money and the ability that will add to Calcharo is not worth the prize.
