Sentinel Overview

Sentinel is in damage class that specialize as a long range damage dealer with fully automatic weapon. This imperial heavy gunner is mainly focus on outputting as much damage as you can in a fight and require good aim and positioning awareness to master.

Sentinel Weapon

Sentinel use E-Web Heavy Repeater as a weapon, a heavy repeating blaster that delivers huge amount of damage.

The E-Web Heavy Repeater is a range weapon that dealing 10 damage to the body and 20 damage to the head. It usually take about 14 shots to the body or 10 shots to the head to eliminate an enemy.

Sentinel Passive

This is a very powerful passive that allows Sentinel to eliminate enemy faster when he standing still, make sure you have a good position before procs this passive.

Sentinel Ultimate

Sentinel Ultimate: Empire's Finest | Star Wars: HuntersEmpire's FinestSummon two stormtroopers to follow you and fire at enemies.

Activate Sentinel Ultimate to call in reinforcement, spawning two extra stormtroopers to help fighting in combat.

Sentinel Abilities

Sentinel abilities are focus on improving strength when firing, dealing higher damage, and disable nearby enemies.

Combat Shield (Core)

This ability allows Sentinel to deploy a small shield on the barrel of the weapon to provide extra defense.

Activate this ability to get extra 150 shield, you can see your health bar with extra white shield.

You can also change the core of Combat Shield ability to Durable or Fortitude:

Changing from Core to Durable: Make your Shield stronger but the shield has limited duration unlike core you have unlimited duration of the shield.

Changing from Core to Fortitude: Grants you temporary health but it come with less health shield.

Suppressing Fire (Core)

This ability change your blaster to a slowing rounds instead of regular rounds.

Sentinel Ability: Suppressing Fire | Star Wars: Hunters

Activate this ability to slow down the enemy when hitting your shot, you are allowed 30 shots when using this ability.

You can also change the core of Suppressing Fire ability to Entrenched or Repel:

Changing from Core to Entrenched: Make enemies slowed for longer but the shot fire automatically and can't move while active.

Changing from Core to Repel: To knocked back Enemies instead of Slowing them but the shot is fire slower and fewer.

Barrel Slam (Core)

This ability allows Sentinel to knock back nearby enemies with the barrel of your weapon and stun them.

Activate this ability to disable close range enemies that are trying to hunt you down by knocking them back with stun.

Changing from Core to Pummel: Allows you to knock enemies back even further but the range is shorter then normal.

Changing from Core to Bash: Allows you to deal damage when hitting the ability but affected enemies won't be stunned.

Sentinel Control Loadout

When playing Control as Sentinel we recommend you use these skills loadout:

  • Combat Shield (Core).
  • Suppressing Fire (Repel).
  • Barrel Slam (Bash).

These abilities allows you to focus on outputting as much damage as you can toward enemies.

We stick to Combat Shield (Core) because it is already a very good skill the will make you stronger.

We use Suppressing Fire (Repel) to prevent enemies from coming close to you instead of slowing them.

We use Barrel Slam (Bash) to deal damage instead of knocking back, this is a good ability to use for securing kill plus you already use Suppressing Fire (Repel) to knock enemy back.

Sentinel Escort Loadout

When playing Escort as Sentinel we recommend you to use these skills loadout:

  • Combat Shield (Core).
  • Suppressing Fire (Core).
  • Barrel Slam (Core).

We decide to use all Core abilities because it fit the Escort playstyle best Combat Shied (Core) make you stronger, Suppressing Fire (Core) allows you to slow enemy with your shot, and Barrel Slam (Core) allows you to stun enemies.

Sentinel Huttball Loadout

When playing Huttball as Sentinel we recommend you to use these skills loadout:

  • Combat Shield (Core).
  • Suppressing Fire (Entrenched).
  • Barrel Slam (Pummel).

Playing Sentinel with these abilities in Huttball make you an aggressive disabler for the other team.

We use Suppressing Fire (Entrenched) to make enemies become slower when we hit them with our shots.

We use Barrel Slam (Pummel) to disabled them and knock enemies back even further then Core.
