How To Customize Character Abilities
Important: Here's how to check and change each character abilities slot:
Click on KUSTOMIZE → CHARACTERS Pick Character → Click on any Variation → Press R1 to ABILITIES.
From here you can change each ability the way you want your character to execute.
Abilities Slot for all Characters
First of all, you need to know that every character in Mortal Kombat 11 only has 3 slots to equipped the abilities. However you need to know that not every ability holds 1 slot, some ability takes up to 2 slots.
The Number next to Slot(s) show you how many slots the ability hold.
Abilities Cast Range for all Characters
Cast Range is very important for you to know since all abilities have a different range when casting in other to hit the target.
The Cast Range divided into 3: Long, Medium, Close.
Some abilities might require Medium to Close range to cast for a perfect fit, some require the long range to land it perfectly.
For Example, Here is the range of Scorpion that needs to cast his fatalities toward enemies.
Outside the green zone the Fatalities won't trigger, Abilities will still work but it won't hit your enemy.
Amount of Hit per Ability
This shows you how many hit(s) 1 ability can produce. It is important to know it since some time a lot of hits can produce a lot of damage but sometimes it doesn't.
You will need to test it in-game for yourself to see the number of hits when you land an ability.
Amount of Damage per Ability
Damage is the number you see when you fight, kick, use an ability toward your enemy. It depicted how strong your ability can deal.
From a casual player perspective damage might seem normal to them, but for professionals they don't want to waste even one damage on an empty target.
Damage comes in handy when picking your own abilities for the character because it tells you how huge all 3 abilities can produce.
You can also go into practice to test out your character abilities damage as well.
Ability Conflict in Mortal Kombat 11
Ability Conflict tells you if the ability can equip with each other in 1 character or not. Because some can't go along together in character which is called conflict. It is important to know that once you get to choose your own skill.
For Example: Here is Shao Kahn ability: Seeking Wrath Hammer conflicted with Up Wrath Hammer so you can't equipped those into 1 character. It also shows you in the abilities screen.
